Evaluations and ongoing medication care from a psychiatric nurse practitioner, as one part of your overall plan.
Licensed Texas Outpatient Clinic
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Insurance and Self Pay Options
Medication can be an important part of treatment, but it is never the whole plan. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner reviews your symptoms and history, explains your options clearly and, when medication is the right choice, monitors how it is working alongside your therapy at STS.
Adults in therapy or IOP at STS whose symptoms may benefit from medication
Adults referred by a doctor or therapist for a psychiatric evaluation
Adults already taking medication who want ongoing monitoring and adjustment
Adults managing both mental health and substance use concerns
How It Works
A full evaluation first, then follow up visits that fit your plan.

Getting Started
We make admissions simple, respectful and clear from the very first call.
01
Call (713) 485 4207 or request an appointment online. Our intake coordinator answers your questions and takes a few contact details.
02
We check your insurance benefits and explain any costs before your first visit, so there are no surprises.
03
Meet with a licensed clinician for a full assessment, about 60 to 90 minutes, then agree your plan and start date.
Common Questions
Do I have to take medication?
No. Medication is always your choice. We explain the options and respect your decision.
How long is the first appointment?
About 60 minutes. Follow up visits are shorter and focus on how you are doing.
Can you work with my current doctor?
Yes. With your permission, we coordinate with your primary care provider or any other prescriber.
Do I need to be in therapy at STS?
Many people combine medication care with therapy or IOP here, which gives the most complete support. We will discuss what fits you best.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A list of your current medications, any past treatment records, a photo ID and your insurance card.
Is psychiatric care covered by insurance?
Many insurance plans cover psychiatric evaluations and follow up visits. We work with a growing number of plans, offer self pay options, and check your coverage first.
