Conditions We Treat
Consistent, coordinated outpatient care that helps you understand your moods and build a steadier life.
Understanding the Condition
Bipolar disorder is a long term mental health condition that causes significant shifts in mood, energy and activity, from periods of high energy or irritability to periods of depression. These changes can affect relationships, work and daily routines. With consistent treatment and support, many people with bipolar disorder live stable, fulfilling lives.
Recognizing the Signs
These are common signs, not a diagnosis. A psychiatric evaluation is the best way to understand what you are experiencing.
Periods of unusually high energy, racing thoughts or very little need for sleep
Talking fast, taking on many projects or acting on impulse
Times of deep low mood, hopelessness or exhaustion
Mood shifts that feel out of proportion to what is happening
Spending, risk taking or decisions you later regret
Difficulty keeping up with work, sleep and daily routines
Integrated Treatment Pathway
Stability comes from steady, coordinated care. Your psychiatric care, therapy and support team work as one.

Your Care Journey
Care usually begins with a psychiatric evaluation and a conversation with a licensed clinician about your history, moods and goals. Together we build a plan that combines medication management, if you choose it, with therapy and practical support. You learn to track your moods and spot early warning signs, and we review your plan with you regularly.
Common Questions
Can bipolar disorder be managed without medication?
Medication is an important part of treatment for many people with bipolar disorder. We explain the options clearly, and decisions are always made with you.
How often will I see the prescriber?
After your first evaluation, follow ups are usually every few weeks at first, then spaced out as things settle.
What happens if I have an episode during treatment?
Tell your care team as early as you can. We adjust your plan and can step up your support, including IOP. In an emergency, call 911 or 988.
Is bipolar treatment covered by insurance?
Many insurance plans cover psychiatric care, therapy and IOP. We work with a growing number of plans, offer self pay options, and check your coverage before you start.
